Morbius
Morbius, the Living Vampire, is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He first appeared as a villain in the pages of “The Amazing Spider-Man” in the early 1970s, but has since been depicted as an anti-hero who struggles with his vampiric condition. Morbius was originally a scientist named Michael Morbius who was trying to cure a rare blood disease, but instead turned himself into a vampire after a failed experiment. He possesses many of the classic vampire abilities, including the power to turn into mist, superhuman strength, agility, and the ability to hypnotize his victims. However, Morbius is also plagued by the Hunger, an insatiable thirst for blood that he must constantly struggle to control. Despite his monstrous appearance and powers, Morbius is often depicted as a tragic figure, torn between his desire to cure his condition and his fear of the monster he has become.
