The Hulk is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, the Hulk first appeared in “The Incredible Hulk” #1 in 1962. The character is the alter ego of Dr. Bruce Banner, a brilliant but troubled scientist who transforms into the Hulk as a result of exposure to gamma radiation. The Hulk is a giant, muscle-bound beast with superhuman strength, durability, and a virtually indestructible body.
The Hulk is often depicted as a monstrous being, driven by rage and an uncontrollable desire to smash anything in his path. Despite this, the character has also been depicted as a more complex and sympathetic figure, grappling with the emotional turmoil and internal conflicts that fuel his transformations.
