Dorwinion

Dorwinion is a fictional place in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth legendarium. It is a land located to the east of the Misty Mountains and to the north of the Sea of Rhûn. The region is known for its wine, which is highly prized by many people, including the Elves of Mirkwood, the Men of Dale, and the Dwarves of Erebor.

In the books, Dorwinion is mentioned briefly in “The Hobbit”, where it is described as a land of “good wine and ale” that the company of Thorin and Bilbo encounter on their journey to the Lonely Mountain. However, it is not described in much detail and does not play a major role in the story.
